Goal of the Day: Research and review past natural disasters and public supports ①G2= US cases / G3=Japanese cases ②Make a brief report in English 9:00-9:50 Session 4 *Research on the fatal natural disasters in the past 10 years * Select one case to be focused on for further search 10:00-12:00 Session 5 * Research the supports within the first week provided by following organizasions: - Natonal / Federal level - Prefectural / States lever - Local community level (i.e. Municipal / Couty) - Volunteer level 12:00-13:00 Lunch Time 13:00-14:20 Session 6 * Research on the continuing supports and follow-up services after one year of the disaster * sort out the information depends on the organizasion lever listed above 14:30-15:30 Session 7 * Joing Presentation (G2 and G3) * Disucussion within each group: comaprison of US case and Japanese case

On Wednesday, August 15yh

The internship was canceled due to a typhoon.

 

On Friday, August 16th and Saturday, August 17th

They went to Kyoto for a training holiday.
